Dear Sir,
I hope you will remember me. Meeting you late one night on a flight form Memphis to Washington I believe that you would. I was a young Marine going to school for Airframe/Hydraulic mechanic and AO on CH-46 helicopters. We talked the whole flight and you gave me such good advice that has lasted with me through everything I have done. You also gave me your book which is a very uplifting piece of material. You gave it to me on condition that I get in touch with you sometime in the future. That was the summer of 1994. I’m a little late, but better late than never! Thank you for sharing your hardship and your victory over it.
While in the Marines, I continued taking private flying lessons! I now have every civilian aviation rating you can have in flight and mechanical. In which I have achieved on my own. How is that for you being one of the many inspirations I have taken along the way? I’m proud to say that I’m currently employed at Dynamic Aviation in Bridgewater Va as a shop manager and test pilot on BE-90’s BE-100’s and BE-200’s. I have been at Dynamic Aviation since I left the Marine Corps in 1997. You might know the company. We purchased all the military B-21’s, Which we re-certify as BE-90’s. The 200’s are military C-12’s. We work a lot with the militay, which I’m very proud to say. Perhaps we will meet again and discuss some of the wonderful things we do!
Thanks for your book and your wonderful words of hope
Merry Christmas and hope to hear back from you….
