HI,
You and I have never met, however, you have met my son, Dan as he was traveling to his tdy in Arizona. He just got back from Iraq. He volunteered to “take his turn” so his troops would take there’s. (as I understand it, some find ways to shirk their responsibility)
Ian wanted to spend more time home with his family before the Arizona assignment came along but the air force had other plans. HE WAS VERY PISSED BUT PACKED HIS BAG AND DID HIS JOB. That’s where you came along. He met you in transit. He was so impressed with you and your experience that he called me between flights to tell me to look you up on the net. “read this story dad, this guy is awesome.
Just the breif moment you touched his life changed his attitude about his assignment. For this I thank you. So does Ian and perhaps he will tell you so.
I am a vet myself, and I was motivated just from his excitement.
Thank you
Jim Evans
